Epik High是韓國出道十幾年的嘻哈團體，詞曲大多由成員所製作，我個人不太聽嘻哈類型歌曲，對這種類型的歌也沒有多少理解，但是這個團體的歌是我歌單中常駐對象，原因就在於他們的歌詞。
這個團體本身的歌詞就注重文學性，雖然歌詞原文通常是韓文或是英文，但是經過翻譯的版本仍能夠感受到震撼，對我而言，一首歌吸引人是因為旋律，可是要讓我愛上一首歌，歌詞才是重點。
在Epik High過去的歌曲有不少以Lesson為名的歌曲，但2021推出的這首歌曲《Lesson Zero》，卻讓所謂的課程回到了原點，意味著不需要再由他人來告訴自己怎麼做，如同最後一段歌詞「No more teachers, no more prophets, no more heroes」，不需要老師、先知、英雄。
雖然英文程度不能說多好，但是看到這首歌的歌詞，真的是不得不佩服作詞人，尤其是可以被稱為詩人的Tablo，不需要懂英文也能聽得出押韻，我個人的觀察而言，歌詞押韻的重視程度似乎在降低，但是Tablo不僅做到押韻，同時歌曲的意義、意象都很深刻。
幾乎每一段歌詞我都好喜歡，但還是拿幾句來分享。
如rap開始的第一句：「They teach you to heed the word of a God who has never spoken」，這句就像是在諷刺有人以神之名義來對人指指點點，或者教你怎麼處事。
「They got you hating who you are, to sell you pills and fiction Reachin' for the stars when you were born up there with 'em」， 他們教你憎恨自己，以向你販賣藥物與謊言，要你去追逐那些天生就在你身邊的星辰。（自己翻譯的）。
我個人的理解，覺得這個「They」指的是整個社會，或者操縱社會使社會變得畸形的人，指涉對象或許有很多，因為生活在一個群體中，很難不去聽他人的聲音，也有很多人好為人師。
這首歌很簡短，但是訊息量非常大，而且這首歌的歌詞，可以一直不斷咀嚼，人生的不同階段，經歷過各種事情，都會有不同的體悟與認同，非常推薦去聽一下這首歌，會帶來許多不同的思考。
網路上有翻譯的版本，但有版權問題，加上原文的力道還是比較強大，我就不貼上來了，有興趣的各位可以自己去搜尋。
