第二次寫關於Epik High 的歌曲了，很有趣的是兩首都是英文歌。雖然喜歡的歌曲很多，但是總是優先推薦他們的歌曲，究其原因在於，我是tablo的歌詞粉，雖然嚴格來說聽過、研究過的歌詞不多，但是就我所知範圍的歌詞，我都很喜歡，Epik High 鞋櫃這張專輯的歌詞我幾乎每首都看過好幾遍。
這次的Eyes, Nose, Lips，是yg 旗下藝人的合作企劃，原曲是bigbang 太陽唱的，我本身也滿喜歡原曲的，不過這次選擇介紹改編版本的原因，就是因為太喜歡tablo寫的歌詞了，覺得一定要為此寫一篇心得才行。
以我外行人的角度來看，利用嘻哈的形式去呈現一首原本是抒情風格的歌曲，在沒有大幅改編原曲的情況下，保留了原曲的概念，並賦予自己的風格，是很棒的改編。
除了歌詞之外，MV雖然只是為了cover所拍，幾乎沒有場景轉換，很單純的歌手在鏡頭前唱歌而已，但是這種黑白簡潔的風格，反而跟整首歌的氛圍很相襯，也是我自己覺得滿加分的地方。
與原曲同樣，歌詞都是在闡述分手後的情感，但是在情緒表達上tablo的英文歌詞以及詮釋中，卻更有種明顯的「恨」在裡頭，我覺得這樣的改編，與原曲兩相比較，也非常有趣，可以與實際分手時的感情變化做連結。
而我個人會想推薦這首歌的一大原因，也是因為歌詞本身的文學性，比喻、用字遣詞、用韻都十分巧妙，雖然英文歌詞的寫作者（也就是歌手tablo）本身是韓國人，但是他的創作實力（包含英文、韓文）都毋庸置疑，甚至我也是透過這次心得寫作，才知道他有出版的書籍。
歌詞中有好幾句我很喜歡的歌詞，雖然我英文不太好，但是就我的程度能夠感受到的美感，與他創作的巧妙，已經讓我印象很深刻了。

我的膝蓋灼熱，但上帝卻如此冷漠（自翻）
透過冷熱的兩相對比，讓詞中人跪地向天祈求卻遲遲得不到回應的故事感躍然紙上，句子也沒有使用特別艱澀的單字或是複雜的文法，可是就是讓整個歌曲都有了一個想像的畫面。
另外一句我很喜歡的句子是
So take it slow and let time heal everything
They say that time flies, but you keep breaking its wings
所以放慢步調讓時間治癒一切，
人們說時光飛逝，你卻不斷將時間折翼（自翻）
都是簡單的句子，但是選詞用字就完全在不同等級，尤其這兩句的上下連結，先點出時間治癒一切、時光飛逝這兩個人們對於時光的評價，最後卻說你讓時間折翼。
讓似乎要好轉的心痛跟情境又再一次跌落谷底，兩句間的轉折非常巧妙。
最有趣的是，在中英文裡面，都有時間用「飛」一般的形容，雖然Tablo應該是不懂中文，但是這裡選擇「折翼」的方式去形容「你」對時間所做的事，就很有sense。
以上簡單舉了兩句我最有印象也最喜歡的歌詞，但整首歌詞都很值得看一下，在文章最後附上歌詞。
總體而言，從改編的詮釋、曲子，我都認為是很棒的作品，特別是重視歌詞文學性的人，很推薦聽一下這首歌！（英文能力不足的可以看一下中譯，雖然是翻譯過的，但是還是很有美感）
